This year in celebration of International Jazz Day or #jazzday as it is now known, JAM Duo made this recording of Nina Simone’s Feeling Good.
The Cello may not be renowned for it’s role in the world of Jazz, but here at JAM Duo we are all about challenging ideas and coming up with new things. We love making music together and we particularly enjoyed recording our version of this song.
When it comes to weddings almost anything goes. We have a growing reputation for new and exciting covers of popular songs from the 1960s right up to the present day. Whether your favourite artist is The Beatles, West Life, Michael Buble or Lady Gaga, we have it all covered.
JAM Duo love to celebrate international awareness days. Ok so some of them admittedly are a bit random – in fact it seems there is somewhere an ‘awareness day’ for just about everything you can think of from the sublime to the completely ridiculous. International Bathtub Racing Day springs to mind as perhaps one of the latter!
We might not be jazz musicians but we do like to include certain elements of jazz in our performance and so International Jazz day or #jazzday as it is known in social media was definitely something we could relate to.
