When it comes to film and tv, sometimes music is specifically written for the big screen but in a lot of cases covers are used from existing songs which suit the particular title. This is the case with Strange which is now perhaps best known for its use in the Netflix series Bridgerton.

Celeste’s “Strange is played as Simon and Daphne consummate their marriage on their wedding night in Episode 5. Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” — In Episode 6, this cover is played during a montage of Daphne and Simon’s honeymoon sex scenes.
In the glamorous series which was perhaps in part devised to distract us all from the global pandemic going on outside, most of the tracks are played by the Vitamin String Quartet. A lot of their arrangements may kid you into thinking the music was actually written for string quartet. In fact no, it is just the power of arranging a cover version.
