A trip to Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire was on the cards today for the two part wedding of Zita and James. Their day started at the church of St Mary’s in Dunstable before heading to Horwood House in Milton Keynes for the reception.
The ceremony was conducted very well and, given that it was a Catholic Ceremony with full communion (mass) as well, then it actually didn’t seem to take very long at all. We played Pachelbel’s Canon in D for the entrance of the Bridal Party.
Jules then provided some quiet music during the signing of the register, and then moments later, we were packing away in order to head to the second venue for today’s wedding.
Half and hour up the road we found ourselves at the delightful Horwood House Hotel just on the outskirts of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire.
This was the venue for Zita and James’ drinks reception and wedding breakfast, both of which we were providing music for.
With the British weather adopting its usual uncertainty, today we found ourselves playing indoors for the drinks reception. JAM Duo can be entirely flexible and play either indoors or outside or even switching between the two at a moments notice.
JAM Duo for Your Wedding
Jules and Anne-Marie spend most of their time travelling around the country to play at weddings – anywhere from Cornwall to Aberdeen and just about anywhere in between. By our standards today’s trip to Milton Keynes could be deemed fairly local to our home in the Cotswolds, albeit a couple of hours drive.
