Offering an idyllic and serene setting in the heart of the South Wales countryside, Pencoed House Estate provides the perfect fairytale wedding venue for the most important occasion of your lives. Yours exclusively for the day, the Estate and its 36 acres of peaceful yet captivating grounds afford wonderful photographic opportunities to capture every memorable moment.
This was our venue for Drew and Liam’s wedding on 6 April 2023. Our brief today was to provide music prior to the ceremony as guests gathered in the bar area and then again during the drinks reception.
Music before the ceremony
The first set of music included the following songs which Drew had chosen:
Beatles – all you need is love
Al Green – lets stay together
Jack Johnson – better together
Cannon – cant help falling in love
Ed Sheeran – perfect
We then took a short break for the actual ceremony before carrying on during their drinks reception.
Drinks Reception
We always encourage our couples to select music for their wedding day – a lot of choices come from our listen page where there are 200 tracks for your inspiration. However this is merely a few songs we have recorded and there is no requirement to chose from this list.
As professional musicians we are able to play any music provided we can find at least some sort of musical score or lead sheet from which to make an arrangement!
DMAs – Silver
Donna Summer – Hot Stuff
Tom Grennan – Little bit of love
Luke Combs – Forever after all
Luke Combs – beautiful crazy
Chris Stapleton – Tennessee whiskey
Temper trap – Sweet Disposition
Elbow – one day like this
Callum Scott – you are the reason
Robbie williams – angels
Fleetwood Mac – dreams
Coldplay – the scientist
Human League – electric dreams
Toto – Africa
Kodaline – the one
Lady Gaga – shallow
It’s a great way for us to discover new music and also to really get to understand what music brides (and grooms of course) really want at their wedding as this helps us to plan future songs we might record!
We really enjoyed being part of Drew and Liam’s wedding day and providing music for them.
