This was another local wedding for us in the beautiful village of Castle Combe, Wiltshire at the Manor Hotel.
The Manor House Hotel And Golf Club is situated in the heart of Castle Combe 200 metres away from Church of St Andrew. Boasting location close to Castle Combe Village, the hotel comprises 50 rooms as well as a luggage room and a restaurant.
You’ll feel the magic of The Manor House before you even arrive. Feel the tingle of its magnetic energy on the long and winding drive that leads up to the idyllic 14th-century retreat, nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds village of Castle Combe in Wiltshire.
How you choose to fill your cup at The Manor House is up to you. Wander through the stunning Italian gardens or charming, bursting-with-history village. Take to the greens with the breath-taking 18-hole championship golf course, for the rolling landscapes and challenging holes. Or simply curl up with a book in one of the lounges or by a fire.
This was the fabulous venue for Eleanor and Blaine’s beautiful outdoor wedding.
We provided music for the wedding ceremony followed by an outdoor drinks reception out on the lawn.
Music Choices
Eleanor and Blaine had chosen some great music for their ceremony which included:
Pre Ceremony
Lord of the Rings – Concerning Hobbits
Somewhere over the Rainbow (Israel)
Game of Thrones Main Theme
Jurassic Park (Piano guys)
Loch Lomond
Bridal Entrance
Entrance of the ring bearers/page boy/flower girl: Carrickfergus (Irish Folk Song)
Entrance of the bride: Skye Boat Song (Bear McCreary – Season 1 version)
Signing
City of Lovers (James Bond)
Vesper Theme (James Bond)
Exit
My World (Il Mondo) by Jimmy Fontana
We always love to blend two songs together and it was lovely to have the chance to play a couple of very lovely folk songs for the bridal entrance.
This was a really enjoyable wedding and, although it was a little chilly outside, this didn’t affect the spirits of either ourselves or the wedding guests.
