Jack and Louise’s wedding took us to the lovely Northumberland town of Morpeth. Combining history and heritage with hustle and bustle, traditional farmers markets lie around one cobbled corner and trendy bars lie around another, Morpeth is a delightful place full of surprises.

Today’s venue was The Wildings which is situated above Pleased to Meet You in the centre of Morpeth.

The Wildings certainly befits its reputation as an exceptional venue. It evokes a sense of nostalgia that is reminiscent of the charming town of Morpeth in Northumberland. The clever combination of rustic and lavish elements renders The Wildings a truly unique setting for any event.

The historic charm and ambience of the establishment further enhance the enchantment of every occasion held here. The delectable array of food and beverages undoubtedly augment the experience and leave guests elated with each visit. The magnificence and splendour of The Wildings make it the ideal choice for host occasions, ranging from intimate wedding ceremonies to grand celebrations

On arrival we were struck by the lovely touches in place for this wedding and we particularly admired the flowers which were being installed as we arrived with our instruments.

Of course it should have been no surprise the flowers were stunning as indeed Louise is a florist and it was her company, The Bee and Botanist, which provided the flowers for her wedding.

The Ceremony

Starting with the ceremony we set up at the back of the ceremony room which again had been adorned with a stunning flower arch. Jack and Louise had added our Gloss black piano shell which really enhances the look of our duo particularly in such elegant surroundings.

The Music

Pre Ceremony
1) Taylor Swift – Wildest Dreams
2) Game Of Thrones Theme
3) Lord Of the Rings – The Shire & May It Be
4) Beauty & The Beast – Tale as Old as Time
5) Can’t Help Falling In Love

Bridal Entrance
Blink 182 – All The Small Things

Exit
Muse – Starlight

We love playing songs by Muse and Starlight was a great choice for the couple exit!

Drinks Reception Music

After the ceremony we moved whilst the cake cutting was taking place so we could carry on providing music during the drinks reception.

We played a range of songs during the drinks reception including Africa by Toto and Brown Eyed Girl which were specifically requested by Jack and Louise.

We really enjoyed being a part of this lovely wedding and it was a privilege to meet Jack and Louise who were so complimentary and kind to us. We would like to thank them for choosing us as their wedding musicians and we wish them every happiness as they embark on their married lives together.
