Hillingdon House is a magnificent building based in Uxbridge. Hillingdon House has a long history that stretches back to the year 1717. Now Hillingdon House has been refurbished inside and out and is now a stunning events venue fully licensed for civil marriage ceremonies by Hillingdon Council. This was the venue for today’s stunning wedding between Gurpreet and Charanpal.

Wedding Reception and First Dance
We agreed to a five hour booking to provide music during Gurpreet and Charanpal’s wedding reception at the stunning Hillingdon House near Uxbridge. Having had lengthy conversations with Gurpreet on WhatsApp prior to the day we were well prepared and on arrival knew exactly where we were meant to set up along with timings for the day.
Gurpreet had chosen a selection of fabulous music for us to play during the reception with two specific songs. The first was Din Shagna for their first Dance and then Teri Ore for the cake cutting. These are two fabulous Bollywood songs which we really enjoyed playing having arranged them to suit Cello and Piano.

The 5 hours passed remarkably quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed providing music for Gurpreet’s wedding. We played all the songs requested and then added in a few of our own choice. We did take a couple of short breaks as the couple had kindly provided food for us during the evening which was much appreciated.
That said, we always do our best to ensure we play as much music as possible at weddings. On the couple of occasions we did take a break, we provide a basic DJ service and can play songs through our speaker system so there is no gap in the music.
We really enjoyed providing music for this wedding and it was an honour to be the only musicians playing at the reception. In fact for probably only the second time in our history, the wedding couple left the venue before we did!
We wish Gurpreet and Charanpal every happiness as they embark on their married life together.
