Today we were back in Wales for the fabulous outdoor wedding of Sarah and Alex. The venue of choice was in fact a glamping site just north east of Newport in South Wales. As we understand, the site was chosen as Sarah and Alex had been on holiday there and wanted to hire the entire site so they could get married somewhere which had meaning for them both. And what a fabulous job they had done.

Ceremony, Drinks and Meal
The first challenge on arrival was getting to the area where the wedding was to be taking place. This was quite some way from the nearest parking. To be fair there was the option of driving into the field, but a quick look at some of the mud made us decide against this. It’s one thing to have a car which is technically 4 wheel drive, but the idea of getting stuck on someone’s wedding day was far worse than the notion of carrying our kit a few hundred yards!!
The Ceremony and Drinks Reception
Sarah and Alex had thoughtfully provided us with shelter for ourselves and our instruments and placed it in such a location that we could remain in situe for both the ceremony and outdoor drinks reception which followed.
