Today we had the pleasure of providing music for Katie and Adam’s wedding starting in the Chapel at Sudeley Castle. It was also the first time we had met Julia Hawkes, Your Celebrant in the Cotswolds despite knowing her via social media for sometime and all being based in the Cotswolds.

As instructed we set up at the altar end of the chapel near to the tomb of Katharine Parr, one of Henry VIII’s wives.
The Drinks Reception
After the ceremony we moved outside with our piano shell – in fact carrying it through a small wooded area to the Queens Garden where the drinks reception was taking place. We love playing for an outdoor drinks reception and its extremely easy for us as we have a couple of portable outdoor power supplies which means we can locate anywhere without any trailing wires or worrying about where the nearest power socket is located.
This meant we were able to set up in the centre of the garden near to the drinks table and ensure our music was a part of the celebrations of Katie and Adam’s wedding.
We really enjoyed being a part of Katie and Adam’s beautiful wedding at Sudeley Castle in the Cotswolds. The weather was very kind to them – so much so that we needed to keep our iPad’s shaded and make use of some suncream during the afternoon! But let us never complain – otherwise it may rain again!
We wish Katie and Adam every happiness as they embark on their married future together and thank them for choosing JAM Duo to provide their daytime wedding music.
