Our first trip to Sandhole Oak Barn was for the beautiful wedding of Lauren and Joshua. Ceremony, Drinks and Meal
When we arrived the weather was looking decidedly as if it might rain and so it was decided to wait until 1pm before the venue decided on whether the ceremony would be indoors or outdoors. We are well aware that a lot of couples are very keen to get married outside and so during this time we explored the various options available to us which would mean we could play outside even in light rain. Our concern is not so much for ourselves – we are waterproof, but our instruments are not!
However we had calculated a couple of options including being under a patio umbrella or even playing just by the doorway which could have worked. In the end though it was decided the ceremony would be indoors, which was probably a good call as half way through there was what sounded like torrential rain outside!

We particularly liked the couples beautiful Dachshund who was very much a part of the wedding and at one point needed a cuddle during the ceremony!

The Wedding Reception and Meal
After the ceremony having set up inside near the venue Grand Piano we were able to remain in place to provide music throughout the drinks reception and wedding breakfast which followed.
