Brought back to life by the Allison family, Middleton Lodge is a 200-acre privately owned estate located near Richmond, North Yorkshire. Elegant and enchanting, it’s the perfect place for a relaxing countryside escape, and somewhere to taste the seasons at sustainability-conscious restaurants. Memories can also be made here in one of the exclusive event spaces which host private celebrations and dream wedding days.
Over the past 16 years the Allisons have transformed the estate’s walled gardens, farmhouse and outbuildings, which are now home to two award-winning restaurants, a 30-bedroom hotel, two self-catered cottages and two treatment rooms – all carefully dotted in hamlets amongst the private meadows, gardens and parkland.

Ceremony, Drinks and Meal
Sometimes you find a venue which seems just perfect in every way. And that is how we felt on arrival at Middleton Lodge near Richmond in North Yorkshire. Located just off the A1M at Scotch Corner this was a stunning venue, made even more stunning by the beautiful weather which allowed us to set up outside for the ceremony and drinks reception.

For the ceremony we setup under a tree which not only provided shade from the sun but proved to be the perfect spot from which to provide music during both the ceremony and drinks reception. This saved us moving after the ceremony which most importantly means we are able to provide even more music for the couple.
We always chuckle when venues ask us if we need to be near to a plug. The answer always no, we have our own portable power supply so we can set up anywhere. Having our own power has always been an important feature to us as we need to offer couples the flexibility that we can play for their ceremony anywhere they choose without being dependent on electricity.
The Wedding Meal
After a short drinks reception we then swiftly relocated into the beautiful orangery at Middleton Lodge to provide music during the wedding breakfast. It was a very civilised affair and we were delighted to receive so many compliments from Nikki and Adam’s guests, as well as the couple themselves.
We really enjoyed being a part of Nikki and Adam’s beautiful wedding at Middleton Lodge in Yorkshire and we wish them every happiness for their married life together.
