Today was an early start from our Barn in the Cotswolds to drive to the North coast of Norfolk where our booking was for a wedding at the beautiful Titchwell Manor Hotel. It was a very hot day too but no matter we ensured, as always, that we went prepared.

Ceremony and Drinks Package
Today was the inaugural outing for our new navy blue portable gazebo. We obviously don’t plan to use this unless essential as it is not our place to errect things at weddings!!! But sometimes when the temperature is 34 degrees and we have to be placed in full sun for 5 hours of providing music then it becomes a little more essential.
It turned out to be a good investment and we naturally positioned ourselves so we weren’t disturbing any photos. On the plus side it’s also waterproof so will help us cope with that other common problem at Summer weddings in the UK – torrential rain!! Or at least light drizzle!
Music for the Ceremony
Having arrived in good time our first job was to provide music for Madison and Reubenn’s ceremony which was being held outdoors in the beautiful gardens of Titchwell Manor Hotel.

It’s always good fun when the couple choose music which is new to us and we particularly enjoyed sourcing, arranging and playing Always Gonna Love by Alana Springsteen as it turned out there wasn’t even a basic piano arrangement of this anywhere! But we enjoy these sort of challenges and we hope Madison and Reubenn enjoyed our arrangement for Cello and Piano – it is certainly unique (and unpublished).
All too soon our involvement in today’s wedding was at an end. Since we had a bit of time to spare and we were staying in Norfolk for a few days for other weddings in the area we made our way to Hunstanton where we managed to find some rather nice fish and chips to enjoy by the sea. After this we had a quick wander past Sandringham and then made our way to our overnight stay in Boston – yes technically that’s in Lincolnshire but it was still relatively near for the wedding which followed the next day.
We wish Madison and Reubenn every happiness as they embark on their married future together.
