After lots of busy weddings all around the country today it was nice to be local once again and playing for a wedding in the Cotswolds. That said Charingworth Manor is in the North of the Cotswolds and so around an hour or so from our barn near Westonbirt. We therefore set off in good time, allowing time to stop for cake at a lovely farm shop we know just near to Moreton in Marsh. There’s always time for cake!

Starting outside we set up for the ceremony. The weather was a little overcast but fortunately the rain stayed away for the duration of the outdoor ceremony in the gardens at Charingworth House.

Since this was a Nepali wedding ceremony (similar to Hindu ceremony) there wasn’t a Signing of the Register. Pratap and Bina asked us to play music during the bit where the groom puts sindoor on the bride (this symbolises the couple as married)
