Today we were staying relatively local in the Cotswolds for this beautiful wedding at Kiftsgate Court Gardens near to Chipping Camden. It was our first visit to this venue which is a delightful Cotswolds Garden and well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Ceremony Only
Setting up in the gardens, the ceremony was at quite an early time of 11am. This was absolutely not a problem for us, particularly with this being one of our more local venues. The weather however had other ideas. This presented a bit of a challenge as the venue only has an outdoor space for weddings and I believe the licence is only for outside weddings.
However the lovely registrars from Gloucestershire were game for a wet wedding and with plenty of umbrellas and a good bit of British spirit and determination the wedding went ahead as planned.

We really enjoyed being a part of this lovely wedding and it was good to see that the rain did not stop play. In fact it looked quite fun – although we did at least have some shelter. We can cope with most things and we do have a gazebo in the event of full sun or a little light rain, but this was a downpour. And also our little navy blue gazebo isnt always suitable for some venues!
We wish Peter and Eleanor every happiness as they embark on their future together as husband and wife.
