This August has been incredibly busy for us. Not only have we had weddings nearly every day, but we have been driving round the country on loop it seems. After Wales 2 days, ago, yesterday we were in Scotland and today we were in Essex. This ‘loop’ did make some sense as tomorrow we are in Hampshire which is broadly speaking on our way home to the Cotswolds which is where the wedding in two days time will be!

Music during the Wedding Breakfast
Today we had what almost felt like a day off. We had driven down to Essex last night and stayed relatively near to where our wedding was. But on this occasion we were only providing music during the wedding breakfast and so we had until quite late in the afternoon before we needed to be at Apton Hall. This gave us time for a rest and we found a lovely farm shop for brunch in the morning before slowly making our way through the Essex villages to Apton Hall.
We arrived in good time for Karen and Jason’s wedding and set up whilst the couple and their guests were enjoying drinks outside in the courtyard on what was a lovely sunny summers day.
It’s always a slightly unusual feel when we come into a wedding half way through but we still really enjoyed being a part of Karen and Jason’s special day and it was an absolute pleasure to provide music for them during their meal.
