From South Wales, it was a late night drive up to Scotland for today’s wedding just on the edge of Glasgow at the Lynnhurst Hotel in Johnstone.

Ceremony Drinks and Meal
We always love playing for weddings in Scotland even if it does mean a six hour drive to get there! Yesterday we were in South Wales, today we were in Johnstone, Scotland, just on the edge of Glasgow. When we have significant distances to drive between weddings we always do it the night before so there is no rush to get to the wedding on the day!
This meant we had a little time in the morning to explore Johnstone – a little visit to a few charity shops yielded a couple of nice jigsaws (when we aren’t playing for weddings we like to indulge in jigsaws, completing on average one a week depending on how busy we are with weddings).

The Wedding Reception
Unusually for us, we were able to remain in the same location throughout the ceremony drinks and meal today. Not only does this make our job easier not having to move around but also means the couple and their guests get even more music as we generally do not tend to take breaks during our playing.
We really enjoyed being a part of Joanne and Jamie’s wedding and we wish them all the best for their future together.
