After one of our few day’s off in August we were back on the road again today firstly heading to Devon for Sophie and Matt’s lovely wedding at the Kingston Estate near Totnes.

Ceremony, Drinks and Meal

Knowing how the Devon lanes can be challenging, we set off in good time for today’s wedding and this gave us plenty of time to suss out the venue on arrival. The first order of the day was the outdoor ceremony which was set up in the main gardens of the house. The weather was fortunately on our side today and whilst not a hot sunny day, the rain stayed away for all the outdoor elements of today’s wedding.

Today we also met Bravo Singing waiters who were extremely helpful to us throughout the day, whilst also remaining a surprise for the guests. Without them we would have struggled to get our piano shell upstairs to the meal room without completely disassembling it.

We really enjoyed being a part of Matt and Sophie’s wedding from playing at their outdoor ceremony and drinks reception to providing music during their meal in the barn. It was also our first wedding at the Kingston Estate which is a super venue if you are looking for somewhere to get married in Devon. Sophie and Matt had kindly provided us with a supplier meal too which was most welcome as following their wedding we had to drive overnight to Scotland to be ready for tomorrow’s wedding at Hetland Hall!

We wish Sophie and Matt every happiness as they embark on their married live together and thank them for choosing JAM Duo to provide their day time wedding music.
