It was a pleasure to return to Orchardleigh House in Somerset for today’s beautiful wedding between Jade and Hayden. It’s been a while since we were at Orchardleigh in the county of Somerset. As a venue it is set in a large area of countryside and there are a couple of wedding venues on site. Today we were in the main house which is an idyllic spot for your Somerset Wedding.

Ceremony, Drinks and Meal
The weather was a little autumnal when we arrived at Orchardleigh and so today’s wedding was declared as being inside. This meant setting up in the main hallway of the grand house. There is a piano here, but a quick play revealed that it had not been tuned for some time. Luckily with plenty of space we could set our own grand piano shell up towards the rear of the ceremony area. This placed us at the foot of the main staircase from which Jade would be making her entrance to the ceremony.

Jade and Hayden had picked some fabulous music for their wedding ceremony at Orchardleigh House.
Pre Ceremony
As the guests were gathering we had been asked to play a selection of classical music to set the tone for the day.

We always enjoy a blend for the bridal entrance and Jade had asked us to change the song as she reached the top of the stairs ready to make her grand entrance.
Having two songs for your bridal entrance is a great way to really herald the arrival of the bride as a special moment. JAM Duo do not just ‘change’ the song. We seamlessly blend one song into another but in such a way that your guests will know that something is going to happen. We then make the second song slightly more dramatic to signify the importance of the bridal entrance.
The Drinks Reception and Meal
For the drinks reception we were able to remain in the same location as we were also conveniently located to fill the house with music.
We had been given freedom of choice for this part of the day in terms of the music so played a selection of classical and contemporary songs to suit the mood of the occasion.
We really enjoyed being a part of Jade and Hayden’s wedding at Orchardleigh House in Somerset. It is a delightful wedding venue in the South West and we wish them both all the very best as they embark on their married future together.
