Today after returning from Stockholm, we were in Essex at the Reid Rooms for the lovely wedding of Rachael and James. It was also a chance to catch up with the fab Georgie from Georgina Rose Events who was providing co-ordination services for the day. Some of our readers may recall we provided music for Georgie and Brian’s wedding a couple of years ago.

Ceremony, Drinks and Meal
Today despite it being October the weather was favourable enough for an outdoor ceremony and reception. In fact we stayed outside all day. Our first set up was for the ceremony where we played a blend of two songs for the bridal entrance.
We then relocated through to the main barn area of the venue where there was an outdoor reception with food trucks which arrived during the ceremony. Luckily we have our own power as the caterers seemed to need all available power despite us previously being told to use the venue power! However, no matter, luckily we plan for this sort of thing and ensure we are never reliant on anything from any one else and so we used our own power.
We were quite surprised how quickly one of the food trucks ran out! Lots of people queuing for food were quickly disappointed!
Anyway no matter everyone seemed to be having a fabulous time and Rachael and James were an absolutely lovely couple. It was our absolute pleasure to be part of their beautiful wedding and to provide music for them.
We really enjoyed this wedding and we wish Rachael and James every happiness for their married life together.
