Setting off from the Cotswolds quite early meant we were in the Lake District by 10.30am. Short walk through the town took us to Derwent water where we found a cafe to serve us brunch as we looked out across the Lake. With the wedding not starting until 3pm we had plenty of time to take a short stroll around Keswick before making our way to New House Farm.

On arrival we found the venue, New House Farm, to be absolutely stunning. Not only were the views across to the nearby hills amazing, but the whole venue was so beautifully laid out and absolutely pristine. We were made very welcome by Hazel the owner, who made us coffee whilst we set up.

Mischa and Stuart had opted for an outdoor ceremony and drinks. And despite this being October the sun was blazing down upon us, to the point we had to reach for the sun cream!

We remained in situe for the drinks reception and really enjoyed providing music for Mischa and Stuart’s guests as they enjoyed drinks on the lovely outdoor terrace.
It was a real pleasure to be part of this wedding at such a delightful venue in the Lake District. If you are looking to get married in the Lakes then it would certainly be worth considering New House Farm, it really is a gem amongst wedding venues.
