Today we were in Maidenhead for the beautiful wedding of Lucy and Megan at The Olde Bell. Situated in the picture perfect village of Hurley in Berkshire, this traditional coaching inn will offers all that is essential for a wedding as well as the versatility to make each ceremony and reception unique.

Ceremony and Drinks
Starting in the beautiful ceremony space at The Olde Bell, we set up at the rear of the room to provide music for Lucy and Megan’s ceremony.

After the ceremony we relocated to the main hotel for the drinks reception which was held in a bar area with a lovely outdoor space.
Here Jules got to play the venues White Grand Piano. Generally we don’t use venue pianos, but this one was in good order and with the distance between the ceremony and drinks it was a lot quicker to just bring the cello than to start carrying our piano and PA system to the drinks reception.
This way we were able to pre set up most of the things we needed for the drinks and ensure a seamless move to the second location at this venue to provide as much music as we could for Lucy and Megan.

As we play for around ninety minutes for the drinks reception we then augmented this with some similar choices of our own.
We really enjoyed being a part of Lucy and Megan’s wedding at the Olde Bell Hotel in Hurley and it was our absolute pleasure to provide music for them. We wish them all the very best as they embark on their married future together.
