Ceremony Drinks and Meal
Chilston Park dates back to the 17th century and carries a rich history. Originally a private estate, it has been meticulously maintained to preserve its historic character while also offering modern amenities. The building itself is Grade I listed, with unique architectural features, antique furnishings, and original artworks that evoke the grandeur of its past. Each of the guest rooms and public spaces is thoughtfully designed to reflect the period, giving the hotel a cozy, stately-home feel.
The Wedding Ceremony
We started with the ceremony in the beautiful ceremony space at Chilston Park Hotel. With easy access to set up, we were soon ready and then had time to relax with a coffee in the main hall of the hotel.

Drinks Reception
For the drinks reception we were able to stay in the same location at the back of the ceremony room as there were double doors opening into the bar area where the drinks reception was being held. By moving our instruments through ninety degrees we could play in the open door way and continue to entertain the guests during the drinks reception.
