After an overnight drive, we arrived in Glasgow around 4am and checked into a nearby Premier Inn for a few hours sleep before heading to Sherbrooke Castle Hotel. Normally we would arrive earlier, but the previous evening we had a booking for a Dinner in the Cotswolds which didn’t end until 10.30pm. Fortunately with it being Christmas the roads were fairly quiet and there were no roadworks to contend with so we made good time to Glasgow.
