Today was our first visit to the Casterton Estate in Lancashire which is near Carnforth. As it was a little way from our barn in the Cotswolds we set off around 6.30am to allow plenty of time. In fact the traffic was favourable to us today and so we found a lovely farm shop just on the edge of Carnforth which supplied us with a very tasty breakfast!

Ceremony, Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast
Our first role was to provide music for the ceremony. The space was somewhat limited but we managed to squeeze in by the entrance whilst still leaving plenty of space for the bridal entrance.
This was definitely a first :-
Music for the Ceremony
Pre Ceremony
Tale as old as time
I will always love you
Kiss the girl
Crazy little thing called love
Can you feel the love tonight
Bridal Entrance
I can’t help falling in love with you (for bridesmaids) blended with pachelbels canon in D (for bride)
Signing
Come what may
A thousand years
Exit
Your song
We then were able to swiftly locate outside for the drinks on the terrace.
The Reception – Drinks and Meal
After the ceremony we continued to entertain guests as they enjoyed drinks and canapés on the terrace which is a beautiful outdoor space at the Casterton Estate.
The music request for this part of the day was contemporary, popular and Bridgerton – all styles we absolutely love to play.
As well as us there was also a live artist – Lucy Mcloughlin – capturing paintings of the guests throughout the day – it is always amazing to see other suppliers doing their thing. To quote her strapline on her instagram account – I see you uniquely. Let me paint you 🎨 like you have never seen yourself before.
We really enjoyed our first visit to the Casterton Grange Estate and it was an absolute pleasure to provide music for Christina and Christian. We wish them both every happiness as they embark on their married life together and thank them for choosing JAM Duo to provide their daytime wedding music.
