Set in a historic family estate made up of over 1000 acres, the wedding barns at Gaynes Park enjoy a stunning rural setting. Sweeping views of the London skyline contrast with the surrounding countryside, farmland and woodland, making Gaynes Park feel secluded despite being conveniently close to city amenities.
Orangery
The Orangery, with its license for Civil Wedding Ceremonies and Civil Partnership Ceremonies accommodating up to 150 guests, offers a versatile setting that can be configured in various ways to suit different weddings. Its light and contemporary interior seamlessly blends with the surrounding gardens, creating an indoor-outdoor ambiance regardless of the weather. Additionally, flexible seating plans cater to the unique preferences of each couple, ensuring a personalised and memorable experience.
The Orangery lies at one end of the Victorian Walled Garden, where roses, mature trees, herbaceous borders and a charming wrought-iron pavilion provide a romantic backdrop for your Essex civil wedding, drinks reception and those all-important photographs.
Mill Barn
The Mill Barn is an impressive brick and beamed Listed wedding barn that is suitable for wedding receptions of up to 150 seated guests and 200 guests for the evening reception.
The barn is supported by four great tree trunks and has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pretty courtyard, allowing sunlight to flood in. The neutral décor lends itself to a variety of wedding themes and colours.
The mezzanine floor and gallery can be used as extra seating for the wedding breakfast, to house a string quartet or to serve as a quiet area in the evening with its Raj style furniture and lanterns.
The dance floor is adjacent to The Mill Barn bar, providing plenty of space for guests to enjoy the evening entertainment. Elderly guests and those not dancing are able to enjoy the spirit of the occasion in comfort without the need to retire to a separate room.
