Established nearly 1,000 years ago, Norwood Park history is rich and unlike any other. Steeped with tradition and elegance, Norwood Park is one of a kind.
The first weddings held at Norwood Park were in Saxon times beneath the centuries-old Oak Trees that range across the vast grounds. Since the 1970s, weddings have moved into the house and onto the lawn.
For nearly 150 years, Norwood Park remained a private home. The Starkey Family continues to utilise their home for their own special occasions and celebrations when it is not in use by guests.
EXCLUSIVELY YOURS
Unlike many venues, when you book Norwood Park – the House, the Grounds and the Gallery are yours exclusively from 12 noon until 12 midnight. Apart from you and your guests, the only other people on site will be your Event Manager and their staff.

Indoors or outdoors? The choice is yours! Norwood Park is licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies in the house in the following areas:
– The Drawing Room
– The Gallery
– The Dining Room
– Main Entrance
– Library
Outdoors, Norwood can host not only under the bandstand but anywhere within a 1 mile radius of the house.
The Drawing Room seats up to 75 guests, the Gallery seats up to 120 guests, whilst the outside Gazebo offers combined standing and seating for up to 150 guests.
WEDDING DRINKS RECEPTION
Norwood Park has maintained an enviable wine cellar for more than one hundred years with a range of bottles from across Europe. Guests can enjoy these wines together with younger vintages, champagnes, spirits, whiskeys, brandies, beers, ales and non-alcoholic drinks.
WEDDING BREAKFAST.
For couples seeking a more intimate Wedding, you may choose to have your Wedding Breakfast in the Morning Room seating twenty guests or the Dining Room seating forty guests.
Alternatively, you may choose to hold your reception in the Gallery where they can seat up to 150 guests for those larger affairs.
